Springs of Bandai Mountain west

Symbolic river in the city of forest

Noted in a local folksong as "Mountain of treasures", Bandai Mountain is rich also in natural resources including spring waters in west foot of the mountain.
Of countless spring water sources in the mountain foot, "Ryugasawa Yusui" is most well known. A legend of the spring goes that great ancient priest Kukai prayed for rainfalls at the very spot of Ryugasawa Yusui.
So quietly spiritual atmosphere prevails around the water sources.
